In collaboration with other health organizations in the Netherlands GGD Amsterdam (public health service) has started a study on sexual live and hiv testing behaviour of STI polyclinic visitors with a Surinamese, Antillean and Sub Sahara African descent.

GGD Amsterdam is, in collaboration with other health organizations in the Netherlands, conducting a study on sexual live and hiv testing behaviour of STI polyclinic visitors with a Surinamese, Antillean and Sub Sahara African descent. When do persons come to test for HIV and when not? Which barriers do they encounter? What does one think of condom use? How does one get information about HIV testing? And, how can we best reach others  who do not know their status, but are at risk of HIV? These are some of the questions we are trying to answer.
