Warning a partner
Warned by sexual partners
If you have received a warning by text message or an email from the Public Health Service Amsterdam (either anonymously or otherwise), we recommend that you make an appointment for a full STI test as soon as possible. You can request an appointment by pressing the appointment button on the right-hand side of this page or you can make an appointment with your GP. Please inform us that you have received a warning upon making this appointment. Take the text message or the print-out of the email with you to your appointment with the community nurse. Visit www.soa.nl for specific information relating to STIs.
Warning sexual partners
If you have been diagnosed with an STI, the nurse will discuss the issue of warning your sexual partners with you. You can warn your sexual partners in a number of different ways; you can do this yourself in person, but you can also do this anonymously by sending a text message or email via the results page or through the community nurse. In order to warn partners anonymously, visit the results page at www.soatestuitslag.nl and log in with your personal codes. This page will give you the option of sending the person a message anonymously via text message or email. Enter the telephone number or email address of the partners who should be warned here and click on the 'Send' button. The sender of the report will be: GGD Adam. This message cannot be traced back to your file or your personal details.
