Warned by sexual partners

If you have received a warning by text message or an email from the Public Health Service Amsterdam (either anonymously or otherwise), we recommend that you make an appointment for a full STI test as soon as possible. You can request an appointment by pressing the appointment button on the right-hand side of this page or you can make an appointment with your GP. Please inform us that you have received a warning upon making this appointment. Take the text message or the print-out of the email with you to your appointment with the community nurse. Warning sexual partners

If you have been diagnosed with an STI, the nurse will discuss the issue of warning your sexual partners with you. You can warn your sexual partners in a number of different ways; you can do this yourself in person, but you can also do this anonymously by sending a text message or email via the results page or through the community nurse. In order to warn partners anonymously, visit the results page at and log in with your personal codes. This page will give you the option of sending the person a message anonymously via text message or email. Enter the telephone number or email address of the partners who should be warned here and click on the 'Send' button. The sender of the report will be: GGD Adam. This message cannot be traced back to your file or your personal details.

Warning a partner: is an online method that is utilised by a number of different Public Health Services to warn partners about STIs. Have you received a warning via If so, then arrange an appointment as soon as possible for a full STI test at the Public Health Service Amsterdam, or with your GP. Simply enter the personal code found in your text message or email on the website to see which STI this concerns. Take the print-out with information with you to your appointment and give this to the community nurse.
