Vaccinations for your work

You can turn to the GGD Amsterdam Public Health Service for vaccinations you need for work. Ask your employer if the costs will be reimbursed. You will usually have to pay for the consultation and the vaccinations yourself, and claim the costs back later.

At present, the following work vaccinations are available at the GGD Amsterdam Public Health Service:

  • flu jab
  • Hepatitis A
  • Hepatitis B
  • whooping cough
  • measles
  • rabies
  • tetanus
  • meningococcal B

Always a consultation

You are always welcome to come to our consultation hours for personal advice. During your consultation, we will review your health, age, and any vaccinations you have already had. We do not give advice by phone or email.

Prices

Employers usually pay for the costs associated with vaccinations. Ask your employer about this. You will usually have to pay for the consultation and the vaccinations yourself, and claim the costs back later. Check out our price list to find out how much it costs.

Please bring the following with you to your appointment:

  • passport, ID card or driving licence
  • healthcare card
  • vaccination booklet (yellow booklet)
  • if you take medication: an overview of your current medication
  • not mandatory, but allowed: a referral from your employer
  • payment (cash or debit card)

You can make an appointment from Monday to Friday between 08.00 and 15.00

Cancelling your appointment

Are you unable to come? Please cancel your appointment at least 24 hours in advance using our online form or by calling 020 555 5090 between 08.30 and 12.00. If you do not cancel on time, you will have to pay for the consultation.
